Popis: The purpose of this article is to show how the social order was formed and how the concept of the General Plan for the reconstruction of the city of Moscow in 1935 was formed on its basis. It should be noted that there are too few special studies devoted to the preparation of the General Plan for the Reconstruction of Moscow in 1935. The problems of the implementation of this plan were mainly touched upon, but the issue of the formation of its social order was not investigated. The article notes that each generation enriched, supplemented and brought new touches to the development of Moscow, focuses on certain political, economic, socio-cultural features of Moscow, emerging in the 1920s-1930s. The article pays attention not only to the resolution "On the general plan for the reconstruction of the city of Moscow" of May 10, 1935, but also to other important party documents, primarily the decisions of the June (1931) plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU (b), formulated in the resolution of the plenum of June 15, 1931. "About the Moscow urban economy and the development of the urban economy of the USSR". The article analyzes the reasons for the socialist restructuring of Moscow, the planned and comprehensive development of the city, and the radical improvement of the living and cultural conditions of Muscovites. Ideological reasons prevailed in the preparation of the reconstruction plan of the capital, because it was necessary to show the advantages of the Soviet social system. It was in the 1930s that the modern look of Moscow was formed. The study was carried out on the basis of a problem-historical analysis taking into account the social conditions of that time.
