Everyday life is an unusual matter for the legal research; indeed, it is wrongly often relegated to the fields of sociology or political science. Yet, the study of the everyday law can nevertheless reveal valuable lessons for the jurist, provided of course that one is able to observe it carefully, using suitable theoretical framework and methodological tools sufficiently precise. This paper aims to present methods to observe daily lawyers’ practice of the French constitutional court with an internalist method using "secondary resources" such as interviews or working papers made public by the institution.
