Objective:This study aims to evaluate the effect of chlorhexidine gluconate (CHX), Listerine, and boric acid (BA), applied to three different restorative dental materials, on Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans) adhesion.Methods:A total of 120 samples were prepared in the study: Composite (Group CR; n=40), glass ionomer cement (Group GIC; n=40) and compomer (Group C; n=40). The upper and lower surface roughness of the samples were measured. After bacterial adhesions, each group was separated into four subgroups (n=10).
