On the maktel-nama of ahmet khaja khalis

Popis: The Karbala incident is one of the most significant occasions in the Islamic world. The repercussions of this incident and the deep traces it left on society have also been the subject of literary works. Artists, whose most important sources of inspiration are the history and life of the society they live in, have used this important event in their works. There are many literary genres in Turkish-Islamic literature that are inspired by Islamic tradition. One of the most important of these literary genres is maktel. One of the most important names of classical Chagatai literature on this subject is Ahmet Hâce Halis. Based on the poet's work, it is possible to find both prose and verse works of the poet in world libraries. Ahmet Hâce Halis translated this literary work in verse from a prose story into Chagatai Turkish. While writing the literary assignment, he requested the young people and at the same time, the motivating force of the young people helped him. A copy of the literary work, which is not mentioned in the sources, was found in Tahar province, a region in the north of Afghanistan where Uzbek Turks live. In this study, first of all, we focused on the general condition of the copy of MaktelNama. After that, the copy was introduced. While working on the text, it was determined who the work belongs to. In addition, since these are the defining characteristics of the work, how many couplets are in the poems containing information, in which verse form they are written, in which heaviness prosody is written, and what are the flaws in the couplets were emphasized. A few examples of the chapters and poetic couplets in the chapters were given and evaluations were made based on these examples.
