Popis: | The article describes current approaches to the treatment of chronic viral hepatitis C genotype 3. The validity of the use of anticoagulants for liver diseases is analyzed. The authors discuss the principles for the use of anticoagulant therapy in patients with prosthetic valves and its issues during the conduct of anti-viral therapy using protease inhibitors, as well as the difficulties in assessment of severity of liver dysfunction and prognosis in chronic liver diseases and cirrhosis in patients receiving treatment with vitamin K antagonists. The discussed issues are illustrated by a clinical case of a patient with a mechanical mitral valve prosthesis and chronic hepatitis C who has received a course of combined antiviral treatment while continuing long-term therapy with vitamin K antagonists. |
