The state and evaluation: The beginning of public policy in pursuit of education equality

Popis: In this discussion, the space in public policy of planning emphasizes regulatory instruments as focus of State policies; under influence firstly of liberalism and posteriorly of neoliberalism. States began to reshape their economic plan system providing allocation of resources. Regarding to this situation, institutional evaluations are undertaken as a strategy for managing the public patrimony, controlling results and transmitting the image that the State cares about and respects the citizens. In Brazil, it leads to organization of National Evaluation System of Basic Education (Saeb), National Evaluation of Basic Education (Aneb). Influenced by this model, the Education composed his painting, which gives rise to sequential notes within a model that segregates the school.
