Popis: Library Science needs an efficient educational guild in every university in Mexico or other Latin American countries, such as: Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba and Peru. The central research problem is that there is a need of faculty members who make the education process in a significant way, which give to students the tools for adjusting and rebuilding ideas from theories, from librarianship conceptual frameworks and from Library Science. Knowing the significance that every teacher gives to teaching inside the classroom, it is important to ask: What kind of factors do the Library Science teaching process influence in which of them teachers participate? This research looks for an answer, due to the lack of knowledge about the librarian as a teacher, neither about the factors they consider relevant for the Library Science teaching and its related sciences (which make up each of the schools). It is necessary to open a general view and know what are the factors influencing Library Science throughout the different teachers voices from Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru and Mexico, having their true perspectives and analyzing their impact in Library Science teaching. There are particular factors which are mentioned in the theory, such as disciplinary identity, the theory application into Library Science practice, the continuous professional development for teachers, the TIC’s adaptation into Library Science teaching, etc. There are other factors which have not been studied before and that could influence in the Library Science teaching in universities from Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Peru and Mexico. Therefore, it is relevant to elaborate an analysis that identifies them, and then shows them. The research hypothesis lies in checking if the identified factors are important for teachers; furthermore, if there are other relevant factors which are used in the Library. Science teaching that are researched throughout an interview. The reason is that these results support the Library Science theory and practice, specifically the Library Science heading as a teacher.
