Popis: INTRODUCTION: To demonstrate the feasibility, advantages and disadvantages of Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH) operation and to discuss the postoperative findings and complications of TLH cases in our clinic in Eastern Anatolia. METHODS: Twenty-five patients underwent TLH surgery. LigaSure and harmonics were used as energy modalities. Mean operative time, intraoperative bleeding amount, decrease in hemoglobin concentration, major and minor postoperative complications, and laparatomy transition rates were evaluated. RESULTS: The mean age of the patients was 52,20 +- 8,17 +- SD, the oldest patient was 73, the latest patient was 40 years old. Cervical intraepithelial lesion (CIN) was the most frequent indication for TLH with 24%. Mean operative time was 105,12 +- 26,33 +- SD, one (4%) patient had bladder injury, and 1 (4%) patient had hemorrhage requiring transfusion were seen as the major complications. Only 1 patient (4%) underwent laparotomy from the TLH due to myoma located in the lower segment and severe bowel adhesions. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: TLH is a procedure that can be safely applied. Patient selection and an experienced surgical team can help to minimize the complications that may occur during TLH.
