Pitting corrosion destroys the continuity of the material structure and has a great impact on the mechanical properties of the material. As the average pit depth is an important index to evaluate the degree of pitting corrosion of materials, the study of the average pit depth is of great significance for the evaluation of the impact of pitting corrosion on materials. Based on the micro damage effect of pitting corrosion on the mechanical properties of materials, the corrosion damage was described macroscopically using equivalent elastic modulus. The analysis model between the volume loss factors of pitting corrosion material and the modal was established based on the elastic material modal analysis theory, realizing the purpose of predicting the average pit depth through real - time monitoring of pitting corrosion material modal. The analysis results showed that the equivalent elastic modulus obtained by this method was better than those obtained by other methods, and the predicted value of average pit depth was highly consistent with the actual value, indicating that this method was feasible in theory and could be used to predict the average pit depth of pitting corrosion materials, so as to evaluate the pitting corrosion of materials through monitoring the change of modal. This method provided a new idea for the real - time evaluation of the pitting corrosion of materials, and had great reference value in reality. |
