Popis: The vigorous growth of tuberous roots of rooted sweet potato leaves caused not only the rapid increase in photosynthetic rate but also a considerable increase in leaf area. The rooted leaves of sweet potato can be an ideal source-sink model system to study physiological and biochemical control mechanisms of photosynthetic feed-forward effects on the source-sink balance.
