In our investigation of the anti-hyperglycaemic constituents of Eugenia jambolana L. (Jamun), one new triterpenoid, 2-O-cis-p-coumaroyl maslinic acid, along with thirteen known triterpenoids were isolated from the fruit ethyl acetate extract.
