Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the changes in intraocular pressure (IOP) before and after femtosecond laser capsulorhexis and lens fragmentation for cataract surgery. We measured the IOP before, immediately, 30 min, and 1 h after the laser procedure in 47 eyes of 47 patients who underwent the femtosecond laser procedure. The mean IOP was 17.51 ± 3.28 mmHg, 30.23 ± 6.70 mmHg, 17.96 ± 3.75 mmHg, and 21.77 ± 5.88 mmHg before, immediately after, 30 min after, and 1 h after the laser procedure, respectively.
