Political representation continues to be a problem in our societies. Constantly questioned, constantly in "crisis", it does not constitute a clear and definite practice which makes its analysis difficult. Based on research on argentine’s members of parliament and their discursive activity in plenary session. This article aims to show times; how representative practice is primarily a deficit with the democratic requirement. Over time representative government has proved its capacity to adapt, but it remains stuck in a paradox between delegation and presence. |
