Systematic approach to the organization of future leaders’ training

Popis: The importance of the need in leaders and the raise of demands to their professionalism and personality traits, first of all to those of influencing people and the character of such influence are analyzed in the article. The role of the current situation in Ukraine is stressed, and this situation puts forward the task of development and application of efficient methods to detect potential leaders and organizing their further purposeful training in the education system. The main causes of the problem in organizing future leaders’ training at higher school are determined. They drive young potential leaders to try going abroad to get education and then a well-paid job by specialization obtained. An attention is paid to the key trait of a leader – charisma. The issues of the meaning and forming of charisma were discussed at the 1st International theoretical and practical conference «Leaders of the XXI century. Forming a charismatic leader’s personality on the basis of humanitarian technologies» which took place at National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute» in September 2017. The article deals with the problem of importance of systematic organization of leaders’ training which lies in solving the following tasks: detection of potential leaders; forming and securing a proper level of their professional and social competences; development of both professionally and socially important and specifically leadership personality traits and qualities. The organization of purposeful leaders’ training is viewed which lies in detection of each student’s individual psychological traits; understanding of a student’s individual peculiarities by a teacher; the presence and purposeful development of distinctive leadership traits; the causes of lack in immediate contact and indirect character of interpersonal communication between a teacher and a student. The article also contains a discourse on the issue of content aspect of systemic order in leaders’ training that means such organization of training and education process which would suppose not only a clearly determined content of this training, but also students’ interest in mastering it, activating of motivation of their learning and cognitive activities and leadership traits’ directed development. Therefore, their training content has to include practical classes in forming stable skills in analysis of problematic situations in potential leaders and preparing and taking decisions on their successful solving, mastering technologies of influencing personnel and managing them, as well as delegation of authority, preparing and conducting meetings and negotiations. The functions of systematic approach providing the leadership potential forming in students are distinguished, they are: outlook, methodological, analytical, critical, and cultural. It is proved that the combination of traditional and innovative pedagogic technologies, specialized trainings, and other methods of pedagogic influence is necessary for future leaders’ training system.
