In order to ascertain the most suitable shape in testing pore structure of coal with Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS), the coal samples from Dashucun coal mine located in Handan, Heibei province were tested with SAXS and low temperature nitrogen adsorption, and the conclusion are reached by comparing the pore size distribution, specific surface and porosity of 7 different pore shapes and ratio of height to diameter with these nitrogen adsorption. ① The disk with the ratio of height to diameter equal to 0.1 is the most suitable shape for the coal samples from Dashucun coal mine in testing pore structure. ② The reason why larger specific surface and porosity are obtained in SAXS test than these from low temperature nitrogen adsorption is that the close hole and the taper hole with smaller opening can be tested with SAXS. It is of much reference significance for the testing of pore structure in the future with the shape ascertained in this test. |
