Popis: | In the postwar period in the USSR from 1948 to 1954, the USSR Council of Ministers and the Central Committee of the all-Union Communist Party (of Bosheviks) annually issued resolutions to decrease prices of consumer goods. This measure was popular among the population and was used by the authorities for boosting their own credibility. Each decrease in prices was accompanied by an ideological campaign. Soviet media shaped public opinion and aroused public reaction. Public reaction organized “from the top” contributed to achieving the purposes of ideological campaigns. This paper defines the ideological specificity of the campaigns for reduction in prices in the USSR is 1948 – 1953 revealed by the example of Kemerovo region. The author reveals the main components of campaigns that received a massive response in the region. Materials of periodicals formed the basis for the study. The regional newspaper "Kuzbass" published relevant materials corresponding to the tasks of the center. The decline in prices based on materials of Kemerovo region is studied for the first time in the ideological context. |
