Bovine Tuberculosis (bTB) is a One Health issue that interconnects human health with animal and environmental health. Due to its importance, cattle (the main host) it is under a national eradication programme in Portugal. Within it, meat inspection is considered a cost-effective procedure in bTB surveillance.
