Ameloblastoma is a benign epithelial odontogenic tumour that has an aggressive biological nature and a propensity to return locally if incompletely removed.[1]Ameloblastomas, which can be solid/multicystic or unicystic in form and arise from odontogenic epithelium showing a range of histological patterns, are a common type of slow-growing true tumour of the jaws.[2]Ameloblastomas with significant keratinization are extremely uncommon and are known as keratoameloblastomas. A small amount of keratinization is accepted as part of the histological spectrum of the acanthomatous variant of ameloblastoma, but cases that are referred to as keratoameloblastoma are distinguished by noticeably high levels of keratin production within the neoplastic odontogenic epithelium. Here we are presenting such a rare case of Keratoameloblastoma |
