Popis: Non-Hermitian skin effect fundamentally challenges the conventional topological description of a system. Here the authors demonstrate a bipolar non-Hermitian skin effect, where bulk eigenstates localize towards two directions, in a one-dimensional non-reciprocal acoustic crystal with twisted topology.
