| Popis: | The title hydrazone compound, C14H10Cl2N2O2, was synthesized by the reaction of 2,4-dichlorobenzaldehyde and 4-hydroxybenzohydrazide. The molecule adopts an E geometry with respect to the azomethine group and the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 7.0 (2)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked through intermolecular N—H...Cl and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a three-dimensional network. |
