Introduction: Wormian bones (WB) are accessory bones positioned within the sutures or fontanelles. Although several studies have associated them with genetic disorders, ethnicity, and skull deformations, their relationship with nonsyndromic craniosynostosis (CS) has not been established, especially among Brazilians.
