Popis: | The green synthesis of nanoiron particles as a source of nutrition for crops has gained greater importance due to its multifunctional applications and easy and eco-friendly process. Deficiency of iron is a serious nutritional problem in aerobic rice production, and this problem can be solved by using green synthesised nanoiron fertiliser as a nutritional source. The aim of the present study is to prepare green leaf extracts, synthesise and characterise iron nanoparticles, and evaluate seed priming effects on germination and yield of aerobic rice. In the present study, nanoiron particles have been synthesised using leaf extract of Bidens pilosa and characterised using various instruments, viz. UV-visible spectroscopy, particle size analyzers, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), SEM-EDS, and atomic force microscopy (AFM). Further synthesised nanoiron was used as a seed priming and folair application for boosting the germination of aerobic rice. |
