Popis: The modern transformation process that Mexico has tried since 1993 with the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), has produced a big mutation of the notion and practice of the traditional nationalism that It produced deep changes in the economical, political, social, agricultural, technical and legal structures of our country. These changes, have transformed the life, work, education, production and competition styles of most of the national population. These alterations have not only made an impact over the economical and political bases of the society in Mexico; but they have also had repercussions on the cultural structure and the informative structure of our republic. Therefore, 20 years after the application of the NAFTA in our country and on the eve of agreeing through the new international agreements like the Treaty Trans Pacífico (TTP) with Europe, Asia and Latin America, is very important to analyze how have the laws of market of the NAFTA transformed the skeleton and dynamics of our national culture and communication? If we do not ask ourselves this and other questions, we will found that in the middle of the national modernization phase with the Treaty of Free Trade and the Treaty Trans Pacífico. The economical, political, legal and technical structures of our society will have changed; but the deep mental structures, which support and give life to our community, will not have modified. Under these circumstances the Mexican society will be walking "blindfold" on a very dangerous precipice; and in some years we will be suffering the devastating consequences over our conscience and collective behaviors that the unregulated logic of the market in the cultural and spiritual field will have left in our country.
