In order to further explore the physiological functions of Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.) Maxim., the study extracted the active compounds by alcohol extraction method, analyzed the chemical compositions by HPLC-MS, and explored its healing mechanism on skin wounds based on network pharmacology. The results showed that 125 chemical components were identified from Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.) Maxim., and the contents of terpenoids, phenylpropanoids and ketones were higher, including cryptochlorogenic acid, chlorogenic acid, atractylenolide III and others. The active compounds of Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.) Maxim. could regulate one or more targets. The EGFR, KDR, F2 genes might be important targets in the process of promoting healing, and tangeretin, alpinetin, and 5-O-demethylnobiletin and other active compounds might also play important roles in this process. It was proved that Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.) Maxim. had a characteristic of multi-component and multi-target action to promote skin wound healing. After the action of Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.) Maxim., the expression of related factors and proteins might be regulated through VEGF, EGFR, and TNF signaling pathways, exerting a promoting effect on skin wound healing. Through the above research, the main active ingredients of Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.) Maxim. alcohol extract were identified, and the mechanism of promoting skin wound healing was predicted based on network pharmacology, which would provide the experimental and theoretical basis for the subsequent development and utilization of Cimicifuga dahurica (Turcz.)
