Popis: Caveolae are plasma membrane invaginations containing cavin proteins that are disrupted upon stress stimuli, causing cavin release inside the cell. Here, McMahon et al. identify cavin interacting proteins using proteomic analyses and reveal functions in stress signaling that can promote apoptosis.
