The article discusses the activities of the Visegrád group in 2019. As the author notes, it has three dimensions: regional, European and international. At the regional level, special attention was paid to the promotion of infrastructure projects, military cooperation and the im- provement of public administration. On the European one, cooperation with the leaders of the Euro- pean Union (France and Germany) and the formation of common approaches to Brussels' policies with the EU states which became its members during the last waves of accession. In the international context, emphasis was paid on supporting the integration process of the Western Balkan states. Based on the analysis of V4 activities, author concluded that the group’s interest in the Eastern Partnership program has declined what is explained by the lack of certainty in the relations between the EU and post-Soviet states, program participants. |
