| Popis: | Chad's industrial heritage is relatively unknown to professionals in the cultural field as well as to key players in the process of its preservation, conservation and the enhancement of its technical and scientific knowledge and know-how. In view of its complexity, its protection and enhancement require prerequisites for recognition, in this case the definition of its purpose and the approach to its apprehension. This study takes stock of the industrial and technical heritage of the twentieth century in Chad, to assess their importance for the knowledge of knowledge, know-how, or even the quintessence that results from the methodology of its study, and to diagnose the state of the issue of industrial wastelands in the context of territorial and cultural reappropriation. In this regard, three main brownfield sites belonging to agribusiness have caught our attention to serve as a framework for reflection on concerns relating essentially to these current challenges and the issues of their heritage development. Because a reappropriation of these "industrial wastelands" into "cultural wastelands" is possible within the framework of a regional cultural project. |
