Popis: Current trends in higher education define new requirements for quality assurance. Improving the quality of education becomes the goal and result of the activities of higher educational institutions, a guarantor in providing demanded graduates in the labor market. At the same time, the teacher is personally responsible for the learning outcomes in the form of general and professional competencies. There is a transformation of the functions of the teacher, his tasks are changing, taking into account new innovative functions in the activity, and there is also a need for their readiness to manage professional training. The article considers an innovative methodological task: conducting intra-university monitoring of the quality of student education. When studying the readiness of a university teacher to solve innovative methodological problems, it is necessary to analyze the trends in the development of education, to identify the main directions. The analysis showed that there is a need for teachers who implement new innovative tasks that can be set for a teacher on the basis of intra-university monitoring.
