Popis: Background: Antecedent research has examined the relationship between cognitive abilities and excitement, but there is a study of the difference between cognitive ability and excitability in people with high risk and low risk of research gaps.Aims: The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference between cognitive ability and emotion seeking in high risk and low risk individuals. Method: This was a comparative study. The population of the study was selected from two categories of helicopter and passenger pilots. Research tools include: Zuckerman's Emotion-seeking Questionnaire (1978) and Neural Cognitive Ability Questionnaire (2013). Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA). Results: There was a significant difference between cognitive ability and emotion seeking in high risk and low risk individuals (P< 0/001). Conclusions: People with high cognitive ability experienced more emotion seeking.
