El autor del Memorial hace referencia al período de los Reyes Católicos, y a la causas por las cuales fue instaurada la Nueva Inquisición, en su opinión totalmente distintas a aquellas del siglo XVI, y que le llevan a redactar el texto.The present work it is a critical study about the performance of the Santo Oficio in the times of Charles I. The unkown author of the Memorial expíalas the causes that led to the restoration of the New Inquisition in the years of the Catholic Kings (Reyes Católicos). The motives of the renovation were complete different from those of the following century (XVIth) henee his writting of the Memorial. |
