Popis: The conception of the novel Didn’t see you in Babylon yesterday, by António Lobo Antunes, subverts the classic models of narration and employs the use of resources as the multiples of the narrative points of view, which combine and reorder the testimony of characters on a continuous basis, making it impossible for the reader to rely on a single finished version of the facts. The elaboration of fictional time, in this perspective, although it is organized in a linear form, since the novel is structured in chapters which correspond to a specific time in the course of na indelible dawn, is operationalized, through the perception of the characters and mnemonic resources that use to disorganize your memories, the experience of eternity. The analysis of the temporal markers which, according to Ricoeur, are allied to the construction of an eternal and imperceptible time, constitutes our object of study, which turns to a writing that, with insistence, questions its own form, limits and purposes.
