Popis: | The paper aims at exemplifying the characteristic features of onomastic space of a fantasy text. The authors examine the notion of a ‘mythonym’, systemize different approaches to classifying mythonymical units. The conducted study permitted to work out a thematic classification of mythonyms from the novels “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” by J.R.R. Tolkien and “A Song of Ice and Fire: A Game of Thrones” by G.R.R. Martin and to draw the conclusion on mythonyms’ role in fantasy literature. |
