Popis: The interferon response is a critical component response to SARS-CoV-2 infection and prior studies have established a role for the administration of PEGylated interferon-lambda1 and its impact on viral clearance. Here the authors show that PEGylated interferon-lambda1 accelerates the clearance of SARS-CoV-2 despite the negative impact of age on the host T cell response.
