Popis: Participatory mapping has been more and more used by indigenous people for the last forty years. This practice must not be reduced to maps but has to be considered as an anthropological exercise. One of the purpose among many is to contribute to a cultural heritages reconquest anchored in territories and to pass down this knowledge from generation to generation. This article use the “Lil’wat ” nation case in British Columbia to demonstrate this thesis.
