Ukrainian poster: the development stages of visual and plastic language

| Popis: | The article discusses Ukrainian poster as the primary and dominant visual communicator from the position of its visual and plastic language according to historical point of view. The author analyzed the general periodization of the Ukrainian fine arts of the 20th century, periodization of the ecological poster of Ukraine (according to O. Severina), a commercial poster (according to N. Sbitneva) and scientific studies of Ukrainian graphics by O. Lagutenko. The author identified three main stages in the general periodization of the Ukrainian poster development of the 20th — the beginning of the 21st century are singled out, taking into account social and economic conditions and technological innovations. |
