Popis: Rift Valley fever virus (RVFV) can cause severe diseases in humans, including encephalitis. Here the authors show that NSs, the major virulence factor of RVFV, is an amyloidogenic protein forming fibrils in infected mouse brains and causing increased mortality in mice.
