This article attempts to address the ways in which colombian migrant networks consolidate solidarity alliances and relationships between people, leading, therefore, the formation of different kinds of socio-economic organizations in the countries of origin and destination. Aims to describe and understand how migrant organizations build relationships with other associations, groups and government institutions to allow implementation of social and economic projects to benefit the community. The study was performed using a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach, where techniques such as integrated social survey, in-depth interviews, ethnographic observation and document analysis. |
