Popis: Several strategies have been attempted to target immune suppressive populations in the tumor microenvironment. Here the authors show that folate receptor β-targeted CAR-T cells eliminate immunosuppressive tumor associated macrophages, promoting endogenous antitumor immune responses and adoptive T-cell therapy in pre-clinical models.
