he paper analyzes the relationships between the components of the culture inserted in the World of Warcraft video game from the holistic point of view of anthropology, in order to expose their particular Latin American qualities that are reinterpreted and self-constructed according to the abilities and needs of each user. Our objective is to show new problems from the social sciences that are evaded or dismissed by the companies producing video games and by the same users when trying a video game. The approximation these reflections through interviews with gamers and other Latin American users, represented by young Peruvians. Finally, the conclusions respond and generate new fields of research within the framework of digital culture, identifying problems that may have been discarded in the production of video games for a diverse world in cultures. |
