Popis: Photodynamic inactivation is a common antibacterial method but often fails in extremely acidic environments (pH< 4). Here, the authors demonstrate halogenation of fluorescein for the development of a photodynamic agent which works in extremely acidic environments and demonstrate sterilisation applications in fruit juice and in vivo.
