| Popis: | Diabetic neuropathy is the most common complication of diabetes mellitus. Among the large number of drugs used as symptomatic therapy to reduce its manifestations, alpha-lipoic acid medications are specific for providing pathogenic effect on many mechanisms of diabetic neuropathy. The article provides an overview of studies on the use of alpha-lipoic acid in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy. |
