Popis: | The codex known as the Missale romano–spalatense kept in Budapest is a Roman missal that was used by Dominicans in Dalmatia. It is important as a source for the Korčulanske glose (Korčula Marginalia) and the Korčulanski lekcionar (Korčula Lectionary) in Croatian. The author develops some new arguments for its possible provenance. Based on comparative research on significant saints’ names from Zadar – Simeon, Anastasia, and Chrysogonus – and the presence of the mass for Louis the Great, the author hints that the Zadar area is potentially a place where the manuscript might have been in liturgical use. |
