Popis: Abstract Objective The purpose of this study was to investigate the predictive value of mean platelet volume (MPV) and platelet count (PC) in branch atheromatous disease (BAD). Methods This retrospective study included 216 patients with BAD‐stroke within 48 h of symptom onset. These patients were divided into good and poor prognosis groups according to their 3‐month modified Rankin scale scores after discharge. Multiple logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate independent predictors of poor prognosis in BAD‐stroke patients. Receiver‐operating characteristic (ROC) analysis was used to estimate the predictive value of MPV and PC on BAD‐stroke.
