The operators are becoming enthusiastic about LTE MBMS services with more and more LTE network are built. LTE broadcast services are best fit for the need of multimedia services, especially the mobile video services with the benefit of the broadcast technology developed by 3GPP. The LTE MBMS service mode was introduced firstly, then overall system architecture, functional components and protocols were described, the key issues for eMBMS deployment were analyzed and discussed, the conclusion was provided briefly. |
