Popis: | Influence of water solubility in alkanes and charging of water/oil interface on the stability of alkane film was studied. Taking into account interactions, caused by charging and polarization of interfaces, as well as dissolution of water molecules inside the film, allows calculating equilibrium film thickness as a function of water concentration. Results indicate significant effects of dissolved water on the film thickness. |
