Popis: Purpose: To evaluate efficiency of MRI and electrophysiological studies, in diagnosis nerve entrapment in the osteofibrous tunnels of the upper limb. Patients and methods: This a cross-sectional study included 40 patients, presented clinically and by physical examination by nerve entrapment in upper limb. All patients were subjected to the Electrophysiological and MRI examinations. Results: Our study showed high prevalence of carpal tunnel syndrome in nerve entrapment syndromes. Nerve conduction studies are the gold standard modality. MRI was capable of precisely delineating nerve abnormality and its underlying cause. Conclusion: We recommended diagnosed nerve entrapment at upper limb by clinical, physical examination and primary EPS studies followed by MRI.
