| Popis: | František Waic (1866–1939) was one of the foremost personalities in music in prewar Olomouc. His greatest importance is based on the stimuli provided for the teaching of music. His views on general as well as specialized music education of children, young people and adults prepared the ground for the scholarly synthesis expounded by Vladimír Helfert in his book (in Czech) Essentials of Music Education in Non-Music Schools (Prague 1930). |
