The high rate of fascination with computer games in adolescents is a condition predisposing to adverse life options of self-determination, leading to mental and physical exhaustion from severe stress, poor social, family and interpersonal functioning. Relevance of the research problem gaming computer addiction necessitates the development of experimental psychological techniques to quickly and effectively assess the degree of enthusiasm for computer games in the low teens. The paper presents a modified version of the questionnaire to identify the level of computer game addiction, based at the technique of revealing the degree of Internet addiction developed K.Yang (Internet Addiction Test - IAT, 1998); A modified version of the questionnaire was the standardization of the procedure on a sample of 304 people (pupils of 5-6 classes of secondary schools of Nizhny Novgorod in age from 10 to 12 years, of which 150 (49%) boys and 154 (51%) of girls).
