Popis: | Three kinds of activated carbon fibre (ACF) having different shapes were observed by scanning electron microscopy. Their cross-sectional morphologies were Y-shaped, asterisk-shaped and circular. The micropore structures of these ACF samples were determined by aS-plots from the nitrogen adsorption isotherms at 77 K. Analysis of the aS-plots showed that despite these ACFs having a non-circular cross-section, they retained their uniform microporosity similar to that of a conventional ACF with a circular cross-section. |
