Popis: The objective of this paper was to analyze the satisfaction with quality of life at work (QWL) and its relation with the commitment to the career, in the perception of 410 school principals of the Public Education System in the State of Paraná. The theoretical basis of QWL is in Limongi-França (1996) and the commitment to career in Carson & Bedeian (1994) and Magalhães (2015). This is a quantitative research with survey set-up, using application of questionnaires. The data were treated statistically through Excel® software and the Statistical Package for the Social Science® (SPSS). Normality tests, parametric tests and multivariate analysis were performed. As results, it is highlighted that the principals present levels of dissatisfaction and neutrality in the domains of QWL (biological, psychological, social and organizational), presenting lower averages for the biological domain (health). Regarding the commitment to the career, the principals present a significant emotional aspect and identification with their career.
